2026 : the current version
The club is being restructured in spring 2026. Patrick Godfrin and Franck Destouet have decided to relaunch the club, which has been dormant since 2020. They were soon joined by Christophe Bernardo and Corinne Destouet. As longtime enthusiasts, they have each set up a “museum” in their home.
After being an exhibitor in 2013, Patrick became a volunteer for the following conventions and participated in numerous conventions abroad. He listened and observed, which explains the club’s new trends:
- consider joining the U.S.-based Coca-Cola Collectors Club to become an official chapter
- avoid holding conventions exclusively in Paris; instead, hold them in different regions to better serve collectors who may not be able to travel to Paris
- organize activities between conventions (such as a prize drawing)
- conduct a comprehensive survey of members to better understand everyone’s expectations
2013: The club moves to the Paris area
In 2013: Eric Rosenberg launched the second generation of the club in the Paris region, together with Serge Truillet. The conventions were always held in Marne-la-Vallée, allowing families to enjoy the nearby Disneyland Paris. Following Eric’s passing, Serge took over the club and organized the last convention in 2020, one week before the COVID-19 lockdown. Covid, renovations at the hotel where the next convention was to take place, and then an exponential increase in rates led to nothing happening after 2020.
2000: The club was founded in Avignon
At the beginning of the millennium, Michel Houche, an enthusiastic collector from the south of France with a collection of four thousand bottles, founded the club’s first iteration. A recognized expert, he had co-authored a book with Stéphane Buttigieg titled Coca-Cola: The Legend, which is still available today. He organized conventions until health issues forced him to stop.
